Bobby and Shirley Retirement:

We started 2nd Crossing Camp in 1987. Our past 24 years have been dedicated to fixing-up and improving the campground and making lots of friends with our loyal customers. Bobby and I "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts.You gave us the inspiration to keep on going after the floods. I know many of you have been run out in the middle of the night, in pouring down rain, with about 30 minutes to leave and we never lost any of you. And still, you kept coming back. You deserve our deepest gratitude!! With some of you, the 3rd generation has started. What can I say; that makes us getting old. We have run our course. It is with saddness that we will be leaving, but not going anywhere. Maybe now we can bring a lawn chair-a cold beer and sit in the river and reminisce with you. That is if we are not out playing golf or whatever else retired people do. Like one of our retired campers (raymond) say's: "If it ain't fun--we ain' doing it".

Rocky, Jackie, Krystina and John are a fine and hard working family. I trust they will take care of each and every one of you the same as we did. We turn the business over to them with complete confidence of their ability to take over where we left off.
